The Covenant of the Phoenix - Runes of Magic chapter participated in the cross server guild wars on Sunday night and successfully won the siege. Tristan lead the chapter into battle and was assisted by Zippity in scouting out targets and taking the reigns when Tristan was temporary disconnected from the game.
Both guilds were evenly matched and the fighting waged back forth across the fields of battle in the beginning minutes. After receiving scouting reports and scanning the battlefield, Tristan promptly issued orders to take the northern bridge, at which point the Phoenix forces formed a wedge and lead by the Azog the juggernaut tank, smashed into the enemy and scattered their forces. Most of the retreating enemy didn't make it far as Zippity locked them down and Dealia quickly engulfed them with hellfire that left nothing but ashes to mark their passing.
The credit for tipping the scale of battle into CotP's favor goes to the low level members that included Caitlin, Whacknut and Arathti, who joined the sieged and helped to operated the catupults, harvest valuable resources, and even sacrificed their lives defending the castle walls. At one point, the enemy sent a group of infiltrators to try to wreck havoc and cause mayhem in the back lines. The infiltrators were quickly sent to their graves after being barraged by catupult fire under the watchful gaze of Arathti.
An hour after the battle started, the Phoenix chapter emerged victorious!
