Knights of the Old Republic is my favorite game. Period. I loved everything about it, from the twisting plot, to the memorable characters, to the varied and interesting settings, to the final battle. When I heard that they were turning it into an MMO, I was thrilled. The press has all been positive. The previews and limited reviews have been positive. I was fortunate enough to have participated in a limited beta test for three days, which left me wanting more.
That was a couple of months ago. Since then, it seems like the game, or at least the press, has hit a lull. I haven't read or seen much of anything new being announced. It seems like the game will now be released toward the end of the year, which seems like an eternity from now.
So, until I finally get to immerse myself in Jedi/Sith history and help chart the course of a galaxy, I will just have to get my Star Wars fill with Battlefront and other older games. I'll be happy when I no longer have to read a wall of text and can just listen to some Republic Citizen tell me of their woes and plead for help from the Jedi...of course, I may choose to follow the dark side and give that poor innocent citizen a surprise sabre slash about the chest. Bwah, hah, hah!
