Fractured MMO

Fractured is an open-world fantasy sandbox MMORPG which blends action combat with fully interactive environments, appealing equally to lovers of competitive and cooperative gameplay. Jump right into the fray from day one. Defeat your enemies with skill and wit, not equipment or level. Gather resources, craft, trade and venture into legendary travels as a solitary hero, or start a settlement with your guild and grow it into the next empire. A true sandbox MMORPG, Fractured lets players pursue the gameplay they enjoy, create the type of character they enjoy, and focus on doing what they enjoy.
Fractured Key Features
Unique And Dynamic Setting – Explore the universe of Fractured, which is spread across three planets – Arboreus, Syndesia, and Tartaros. Travel is an important part of the game experience; unlike many traditional MMORPGS, players must find a way to survive as they traverse the worlds. In addition, eclipses, unique PvE events, have a huge impact on the lives of demons and humans. The state of the universe, and even the position of planets, matters!
Race Is More Than Cosmetic – The race you belong to has an actual impact on game mechanics, from the type of society you live in to the ways you can interact with other players. Choose a human and live in – or at odds with – a feudal society. Be a beastman, and live in harmony with nature. Or, choose a demon, and slake your thirst for blood and revenge!
Crafting That Matters – Finding a broadsword in the corpse of a rat sounds a little unlikely? Forget about old RPG clichés and enter a world where every item is crafted by players. Exploit the uneven distribution of resources to get high profits when trading at faraway markets – but make sure you reach your destination alive!
Get Into The Action – You do not need to grind zombies for 80 hours or reach some level limit before you can join your friends on adventures. In Fractured, you can take part in any content from the first day in the game! The Knowledge system offers power and flexibility, allowing players to develop exactly the character they wish to play.
Action Combat Evolved – Fractured melds the combat style you’ve loved in single-player Action RPGs with a complex sandbox universe. Learn to aim, dodge and master over 400 abilities and 40 unique status effects: only your skills and tactics will lead you to victory! The environment is fully interactive, and can be used to give you an edge in your adventures.

The Scalebreaker DLC game pack brings two new Season of the Dragon dungeons, expanding upon the events of both Wrathstone and Elsweyr. The Dragons are free from the Halls of Colossus, and now you must deal with the fallout of their release. While these stories are part of the year-long saga, you can enjoy both without having completed either of the year’s earlier content—enjoy!
Lair of Maarselok
For centuries, Maarselok slept deep in the mountains between Elsweyr and Grahtwood. However, upon the opening of the Halls of Colossus, this monstrous Dragon has awoken, and now threatens to spread his corruption into the domain of the Wood Elves. Only with the help of the Warlock Carindon and the forest spirit Selene can you defeat this terrifying new Dragon!

Hunt the great Dragon Maarselok!
Moongrave Fane
Hidden within a fallen Khajiiti temple, the vampires of the Hollowfang prepare to perform a terrible ritual. Joined by the former Dragonguard Grundwulf, they wish to drain the blood from a captured Dragon! You and your team must fight your way into the fallen ruin and put a stop to their plan before it’s too late.
Both dungeons can be attempted in Normal and Veteran difficulties, with a Veteran Hard Mode option available for those looking for a challenge. Brave delvers can discover new rewards up for grabs in both dungeons, too, including new item sets, Achievements, collectibles, and more.
The Scalebreaker DLC game pack is free for all ESO Plus members and available for purchase for 1,500 crowns from the in-game Crown Store (listed under DLC).

Name: Gendrill here in the Forums, Kizzy is my main in PFO

Rank: New

Background: Child of the early 60’s… still a child in the early 10’s! ;) Gaming started with 1st Ed D&D and like the mobs in PFO here has escalated out of control… still spend far too much time gaming, Pathfinder being my main choice of course ;) if not in PFO then likely in GW2 at the moment for my online gaming but, disregarding the classic Pong! On the Binatone gaming system I guess my computer gaming started back in the ZX81/Spectrum 48 days with classics like T-Rex and The Hobbit, moving on a little I loved Dungeon Master and the Forgotten Realms games of the Atari/Amiga days, onwards to the early days of linking computers through the joystick ports, remember that? ;) and played a lot of Diablo I and Age of Empires, Once LAN’s opened up to me it included Half Life too, The internet, tying up the phone line with dial-up ;) brought more options like Diablo II and then as broadband appeared moved on to WoW… recent list includes LotRo, ST:ToR, GW and GW2, Skyrim, and now PFO :)

Plans in Pathfinder Online: Kizzy, my main, will be mainly Rogue, maybe Ranger when it becomes available, she will spend a lot of time out exploring, killing mobs and gathering resources, happy to solo or team up for that, and maybe do some crafting if manage to get enough xp to let me…

Am a PvE person and do not like PvP, there are more than enough mobs out there to kill me, don’t need someone ganking me too! So hope PvP will be minimal on the servers, I understand some love PvP but it should be kept in separate areas in my view, like LotRO or GW2, so the amount of actual PvP will have a major effect on how much I play PFO.

So Hi to all my new friends out there, see you in game soon, look out for Kizzy and say hello *wave*

Hey Gendrill, and welcome!

If you don't mind, I'll add you to my list of potential participants in european time zone-friendly PvE-gatherings :).

PvP is not going to be minimal, and certainly not limited to seperate areas. Eventually, we too will end up on the receiving end of another player's hostility. However, I don't expect this to be overshadowing everything else. The vast majority of players seem to have no interest in just randomly killing anyone "for the lulz". Also, major mechanical disadvantages for repeated unwarranted killing of "innocent" others are in place and the devs have explicitely stated that they are opposed to griefing and will take steps to limit this where neccessary. Also, there are play-style options to drastically reduce your risk available: e.g. group up with (preferably powerful) others to provide less of a target of opportunity, or play a crafter staying in the safety of your settlement, or if you venture out alone, stay far from others and run as soon as they approach.

You might still occasionally end up getting killed, but one advantage of being with a strong group such as TEO is that even if your body is completely picked clean, you will be able to recover fairly quickly equipment-wise and you will have plenty and powerful friends around should you feel the need for revenge.

I'm looking forward to seeing you in game soon.

Lady Geezer I think I have both Karmill and Dogan beat by at least 10 year and yes I one of those rare ladies who tell you her age.

Ic Diella: Dressed in all her Varisa finery Diella smiles as she does her happy dance, "Greetings good friends and trusted allies."

I have travel to your great settlement from Keepers pass. I am a gatherer/ resource refiner looking for those to gather and refine for. So let me tell you a little bit about the person behind the curtain.

Her name is Marijane and she been a pen and paper gamer for decades. Her pen and paper career started way back in the early '70 I think it was '72 or '73 with a little know game called Chain mail. For those not in the know chain Mail was like an early edition of DND. I actually played it in college for credit. The class was creative thinking class. The main thing I remember from those sessions was the name of the man who was created the game had a weird name Gyax something :). When D&D eventually came out I was really interested in it. I bought the first box set but never could find any one to play with. Fast forward about twenty five years now married and with two teenage kids we were shopping in a local mall in Va when we saw a large banner proclaiming D&D 25 anniversary. This is were I meet my first DM. We still meet every Sunday and are raising our third generation of gamers who learn to count on a d20 and learn there color by dragon types.

My DND career went from advanced to 2 all the way up to 4th were I became a little disillusioned with how the game was progressing. At a local con we,we being be my sons Joey and Mike and I, meet with a group that were trying to start a local Pathfinder chapter. They started with 1 or 2 tables now we can have as many as 20 going from a little table in the back wall to almost half the gaming room at most cons.

Pathfinder is not the only TT game I have played, Shadowrun, Whitewolf vampire, werewolf, changeling, Exalted, Immortalis, Star Wars, Amber and a couple I have played once or twice and I have forgotten.

MMO career well that a story for another day let just say my first mmos was Rubies of Evertide, Shadowbane and Horizons which is the one that I really feel in love with and learn who to play the game on.

Well that it for now, looking forward to meeting you all in EE.

Disclaimer: For those of you who did not roll a 1 on you perception check yes this is a copy of a post I made on the pathfinder forums.

Plans For PFO: My plans for PFO are heavily into the crafting side of things.
Diella my main will fall into I guess scout gathering side of thing I love to eh get lost  wander that it wander and always have to check out what on top of that mountain or  at the end of that river.  I hope to get all the gathering feats during Alpha 8- I managed to get Dowser 6 Forester 7 Miner 7 scavenger 7.  Rogue 5 plus a couple of levels in refining .

Destiny Twin focus will be refining

I am open for anay advice on which ones to start with. I thinking of  taking all the gathering skill to start with but concentrating one one or two at first. For refining I thinking of concentrating on one or two taking them up and then branching out when I have the time aka xp.

Any suggestion on what to start with would be appreciated.

Pvp well I Die very well there a reson the first 3 letter in two of my characters name is Die. I had my first 1-4 pvp death in Pathfinder recently. It was in Thornekeep. He managed to find a place where he would not agro the guard and killed me a couple of times. Finally I pm him asking if he was finished having fun since as a lowly crafter I would not be much sport.  He asked what I was auctioning I said a +1 bow.  I then sold him the bow I had on me. When he asked why it was 15/20 I pointed dout it had gotten damage from the 5 death he just gave me.

Why is it 15/20...

: D

I like your style Diella.

SO, based on your interests, I would mention that we have an Explorers League for those who like to 'walk the earth' and our crafters are known as The Golden Scales.

Start Here and request access to the 'private' forums where all the good stuff is, and have a look around !

Background:I'v been playing video/pc games since I was 4 years old (not that well @ the time tho of course) and got into realtime strategy games with Starcraft/Age of Empires around 8 years old. I moved on from those to competitive Empire Earth. From EE I ended up finding out about Runescape, and my strategy game time fell behind of my RPG game time. After about two years of runescape and several random games like counterstrike, I moved onto WoW. I ended up meeting some people freshman year in High School that played and re-rolled to pvp with them (but never did).

Anyways, they lead me to Garry's Mod, which is a sandbox mod that uses steam games, and has limitless possibilities for what you can do with it. I ended up joining an RPG server and later leading one. It became the most popular RPG/Server on Garry's mod. I joined a gaming network and became co-leader. I in turn helped manage all of our game servers, most on counterstrike and of course my garry's mod server. At the same time I started developing a Warcraft Source server with one of my friends not associated with the gaming network and we ran that server for about a year. Through my gaming network I heard about Darkfall, and it changed my NEEDS from MMO's.

I wanted full loot, open world, all player made gear, with twitch. I absolutely fell in love with the concept of DFO. I joined a guild that shared many of your values, and I quickly moved up in ranks to co-leader and was arguable 1 of the top 250-500 people on the game as far as skills/knowledge. I invested a lot of time into it, but as you all know it had flaws, and I started college a year after it was released and ended up leaving a few months or so after that due to the many glitches, hackers, exploiters etc.

So I've been on the hunt for a DFO like game since then, and Pathfinder Online looks like exactly what i'm looking for. I'm sad to see its release date a few years away, but i'm willing to wait for an awesome game, better to be finished than released early (learned that from darkfall).

Plans in Pathfinder Online: Not too sure yet, I know I want to PVP, but not grief, and be the best I can at whatever I decide.

Thanks for reading,

Background: TT playing off and on over the years and many different types. MMO's for 8 yrs. mostly pve. I have fun with the pvp, die a lot (lol). Due to my gypsy nature (air force brat), I love to explore places which sometimes gets my toons (and me) into trouble.

Just a note: My job causes problems with me being able to be in game for regularly scheduled events, but I do my best (became an effective pug).

Plans for Pathfinder online: To help guild with what is needed. I would like to experience all aspects of the game. pve is my main choice and a gatherer for the guild. I am open to different role suggestion for the guild.

Welcome Ryan and Kayleth !

Ryan, PFO will be the sandbox game of all sandbox games, hopefully soon ;p

It's been a long 2 years since the kickstarter.

Kayleth, there should be a place for all playstyles in PFO, and we are definitely accommodating them all in TEO.

BackGround:    Been playing Video Games as long as i can remember which with my faulty memory isnt that impressive.  But my first console was the Balleys arcade,  before nintendo came out.  My first MMO was Ultima Online  but i played alll the major ones and many obscure ones since then.  I have experiance in guilds that range from RP ro hardcore Raiding.  I havent been active in an MMO in a couple years so i may be a little rusty

Plans in Pathfinder Online:    hopefully having some of the amazing experiences that i remember in Ultima Online of course i am goin to temper the naustalgic expectations with the reminder of all the times i struggled because of roaming gangs of PKs.  So i want to find a community that i can share adventures with to create new memories and just have fun.

Rank: Member (Golden Scales)
Background: I've played a range of fantasy MMOs - starting with Anarchy Online, I've played WOW, Guild Wars, GW2 and a lot of strategy games as well (real time and turn based). I've played a bit of the PO Alpha but I've jumped in with EE. Based on what I saw from my first few days of EE this game requires good teamwork to progress so I'm keen to be part of a company.

Plans in Pathfinder Online: I will not be doing a lot of PvP due to being in Australia (poor pings). My main character (Palmarosa) is currently working towards Pioneer/Mining as I like exploration and harvesting. I might pick up some stealth to look at doing some recon work later on. I would be keen to help in PvE but mainly as a spare body as I don't plan to concentrate on building up combat skills beyond a nominal amount. I've got another alt (destiny's twin) that is an elf that is just gaining XP until I work out what to do with them.

BTW, I purchased a guild pack on Kickstarter. I have recruited 3 friends (who might be interested in joining TEO) but I have 2 spare accounts that I could onsell (PM me if you are interested).

Also - Name update!

Background: I have extensive experience playing MMOs and have basically played everything under the sun to level cap or beyond.  Started with Ultima Online, went on to Rallos Zek EverQuest, Dark Age of Camelot, Shadowbane, Star Wars Galaxies, Darkfall, all manner of theme-park PVP battlegrounds, etc.  I am primarily a warrior-paladin player, favoring being the main tank of the group or raid.  In games where PVP is prominent, I switch to either a two-hander warrior or some type of blade-and-spell warlock.  Though I was a flying, energy-punching pyromaniac superhero in City of Heroes!

I usually top charts and do extraordinarily well with my builds in theme park MMOs, but games like PFO/Darkfall/Shadowbane are more about how many friends you have, your ping rate, and what gear you're using.  I sort of fall behind in this area as I haven't a clue where anything is and abhor spreadsheets.

Plans in Pathfinder Online: My one and only character will be Kyutaru, who at present is a Fighter primary with some Cleric backup.  I aim to protect others from the terrors of aggressive factions and random PKs.  I envision myself joining the Harpers in their struggles against the Zhentarim.  This is consistent with what I usually do in other MMOs.  Ganking and stealing someone else's stuff is beneath a moral creature and I strive to enforce this through force of arms.  Justice and Retribution for All!

Strictly to not be completely one-dimensional, I am also focusing on Smelting and Miner skills to provide the necessary ore and items needed to produce the armor and weapons I so desire to ward off evil wherever it reels its ugly head.  Until that becomes an issue, I am happily farming mobs and nodes and stockpiling hoards of resources in the starter bank along with all the items that drop.  Of note, I have recently found an Azure Crystal +3 recipe which is listed as uncommon.  I have no use for it so it remains vaulted until the economy picks up and trade becomes a thing.

Name; Kragash, both in game and out of game. Common web names(.. and character names) I also go by include Zoronarn, Forgotten One, and Zarkran.

Rank: New, just applied.

Background; Played Wow for a bit, moved on to various other mmo's, most of them themepark, some of them sandbox similar to Pathfinder online. Not much to say here.

Plans for the future;

Right now I'm grinding out achievements so I don't have to do them later.Specifically Martial achievements which happen to also get Adventuring achievements. After that, It's wandering around and looking for things to do. I'm currently at and around thornkeep because when I visited Bright haven, that area is extraordinarily unfriendly for players looking to get their achievements up to specs, or just solo around in general. Once I believe I have a good number of achievement points, I'll probably head back down to Bright haven and see what I can put together of things to do besides running away from ogres.

Once I have combat trained up to my satisfaction, I'll slowly be also trying to do some of the crafting lines, specifically mining/smelting for now, and perhaps later other skills.

Edit: Ah yes, and before I forget, I'm in U.S East Timezone.

Hello Hello!!!

Name:  Eddie  aka Raliel

Rank:  Member

Background:  I have been gaming since the Nintendo.  Mostly console games though.  I love RPG's, my first MMORPG was WoW I played for years and only stopped playing about a year ago.  I got into table top gaming about 6 years ago (D&D) which brought me to Pathfinder.  So naturally I want to play the next best online game to exist.

Plans in Pathfinder Online:  I am in it for the fun, the excitement, the learning experience, to test out new things.  As far as a character concept though.  My first character is a Cleric, very social and not really into the PvP.

Can't wait to play with everyone.

K thx bye
