Wolcen - Full Release!

Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem is going into full release on Feb 13th, 2020!  I've been following this ARPG since it was first Kickstarted way back in 2015.  I've played it once or twice throughout the development process... Some Alpha, some Beta.  Overall it has come along very nicely, and I have high hopes for the future of this game.  This game has been discussed as once of the top games that will be pit against Diablo IV for the next generation of ARPG's on the market.  I know Cecil and I will be playing for sure.  Come join us in-game and on Discord!

Smite - Free To Play.

Smite is a 3D fantasy MOBA where players take on the role of mythological gods and battle in team-based arenas. Unlike other MOBAs, SMITE puts you directly onto the battlefield with a third-person action viewpoint. From blind-side ambushes to aimed shots, a new pantheon of strategic possibilities awaits.  Become a legend of myth, enter the Battleground of the Gods, and play FREE now!

Game Modes:
Conquest – the main 5v5 game mode. Features three lanes and a jungle area filled with neutral monsters. Arena – a 5v5 game mode with an open battle area rather than lanes. Each team begins with 500 points and must reduce the other side's to zero by killing heroes, minions, and escorting allied minions to portals. Joust – a 3v3 game mode with a single lane which otherwise plays like Conquest mode. Joust can also be played 1v1. Assault – similar to ARAM (All Random, All Mid) in LoL, players are assigned a random God and fight on a map with a single lane. Siege – a faster version of Conquest. Siege mode consists of only two lanes and contains a special Siege Juggernaut minion that deals extra damage to structures.
Never played a battle arena before? Don’t worry. Auto-buy, auto-level, and the deathmatch-like Arena mode let you jump right into divine MOBA action. Aspiring pro? Top the ladders, join a competitive team, and you too could be playing at the SMITE World Championship.

Undecided atm.  Might have a better idea after this next beta weekend (Feb. 7-10).

I've watched several Twitch streams and think that I will opt out of this one.

I pre-ordered, but I've got a commitment to WildStar, so it'll probably be an alternate game for me to play on "off hours" once WildStar launches. Not sure if I'll keep a sub up, but I couldn't pass up on the pre-order benefits. Thinking about it as insurance, in case the game goes F2P at some point. ;)

I am looking forward to playing this game.  Skyrim was a lot of fun, and the graphics and character set up are better now.  See you all in game.

Possibly, but it'll be a second game for me. I'm committed to Guild Wars 2, though our chapter is now defunct. I just got a beta invite so I'll try things out this weekend and see.

I can understand that, but it is about where most games are in beta relative to launch.  I've tested a lot of games and the thing that scared me was the amount of small stuff that was broken and in turn holding up progress.  But the speed in which they have made the required changes is impressive.

If you're an ESO fanboy like i am though, i would suggest giving it a look a couple weeks after launch, that will tell you more then the current state of beta.  Only then will all the content and if they pulled it off or not.

I'm not sure if the survey really needs a "no" option. A "yes, and I pre-ordered,"  "yes, but after launch" and an "undecided" would be enough to gauge interest. :)

true, but of the 3 people that voted no shows they had SOME interest in the game or would never have seen the post =P

They have a looooong way to go before i would consider buying after what i have seen this weekend in the beta. Constantly having to do /reloadui, and thats after much searching on the problem, is something that should have been fixed in alpha. Also the 30 minute wait just to zone into a particular area with no warning or a queue so you know that it is full rather than a hang up. Way to many problems to say yes i'm gonna play this for me.

If fact the only things this game has that sets it apart from any other game is the character skill customization and the crafting. Otherwise its just a cookie cutter MMO.

Sorry to hear you had those issues, but I had non of those things happen in the last 6 hrs of gameplay. But you are correct, the game has flaws, and some of them had me on the fence, but a large portion of them have been corrected in last few betas, I think they are working hard to improve it.

After playing in and enjoying the last beta I am on the fence.  It costs A LOT in my opinion and doesn't feel good enough to warrant that cost.  I did have the most fun since RIFT beta though...  I will probably wait till they lower or drop the initial price.

After this beta, from what I saw, and experienced in my 17 levels... There is a lot there.

The dungeons, areas, and PvP content do seem to be detailed and well done.

See if you can catch a sale, but if you know you are going to like the game it does seem to be worth the money.

IF you are on the fence as to whether this game is for you, then You might want to read up on beta reviews and look up videos.

Waiting til after launch is perfectly good too.

I am not sure if the base game will go down in price, but the cheaper preorder game is priced at 59.99 dollars, which is still the normal going rate for new games in general, be it computer of console.  That being said, it still comes down to if you have the money and what your gaming budget for this year is, there maybe some other title you're waiting for.  But i agree with Liquid, if you're undecided read up on it and watch some vids.  If you're playing beta, keep in mind it's beta.  Things are held back, restricted and simply not available.  This doesn't mean it's broken, it just might rely on another system in the game that's unavailable to you.  To that end, keep reporting anything broken, suggestions, and take the time to complete the survey they send out.   Be honest, but be contructive about it too because even if you decided not to buy and play this game, there are other members that are and we owe it to them to help contribute to a sound world to emerge their spare time in.

To be honest I thought the beta was going to suck from what I heard prior to trying it.  I wasn't really interested because of all the negative opinions about it but once I got in I really liked it.
