theJaeks Posted June 7, 2014 Share Posted June 7, 2014 CryEngine was updated in May 2014 to only run with DX11 cards. As a result, the base code Star Citizen is using now only supports DX11. This should have been proclaimed a little more loudly, and there are many people getting the error I was getting at first. CryEngine Error "Couldn't allocate specular probe texture atlas" I was getting that when SC was trying to launch on my monitor which runs off my iCore7 GPU which is DX10.
