Smite - Free To Play.

Smite is a 3D fantasy MOBA where players take on the role of mythological gods and battle in team-based arenas. Unlike other MOBAs, SMITE puts you directly onto the battlefield with a third-person action viewpoint. From blind-side ambushes to aimed shots, a new pantheon of strategic possibilities awaits.  Become a legend of myth, enter the Battleground of the Gods, and play FREE now!

Game Modes:
Conquest – the main 5v5 game mode. Features three lanes and a jungle area filled with neutral monsters. Arena – a 5v5 game mode with an open battle area rather than lanes. Each team begins with 500 points and must reduce the other side's to zero by killing heroes, minions, and escorting allied minions to portals. Joust – a 3v3 game mode with a single lane which otherwise plays like Conquest mode. Joust can also be played 1v1. Assault – similar to ARAM (All Random, All Mid) in LoL, players are assigned a random God and fight on a map with a single lane. Siege – a faster version of Conquest. Siege mode consists of only two lanes and contains a special Siege Juggernaut minion that deals extra damage to structures.
Never played a battle arena before? Don’t worry. Auto-buy, auto-level, and the deathmatch-like Arena mode let you jump right into divine MOBA action. Aspiring pro? Top the ladders, join a competitive team, and you too could be playing at the SMITE World Championship.

ESO Status Check

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I am just checking on the status of the chapter.

Are people still playing this game?

Are people playing the game in the CotP chapter?

Is the chapter active, casual (1 or more people playing periodically)  or dead?

little quiet on there... but 10-12 in the last ten days looks like.

I'm more on the EU server when I'm on, so ignore me :P

There are a few of us still pretty active and I notice quite a few people on at different times.

I've not logged in for quite some time. The game is still thriving based on what I've been able to see and read up on, but our chapter is running ungoverned and well.

I just started playing, though haven't caught up with any guildies yet.  Still only around level 6... :)

I started playing during the Free to Play and now play it regularly. I am only on the Xbox One version currently but will change that within the next few weeks.

I just reinstalled and started playing again as well (PC) and Bandoid just got the game as well. I tend to jump around games a lot, though.

I mess around with it still, and my dudes are still in the guild.
I don't have the authority to do so, but I would call this game casual, if it was up to me.

Btw, would it be possible to have guild member ranks increased? I'm just a member now, but since the guild is casual, would it be OK to be bumped up to officer to promote people to member and to have access to the bank (at the very least I'd like to clear out all the white quality gear that crafters have dumped into the guild bank).

@ Tarynn   hit me up in mumble when you get on, will run around and do things.
@ Blue    if we're more or less ungoverned like Liquid Wolf said, I don't see why not. I'll look at who is officer and what not when Maintenance is over.

Just an fyi for folks, all my older toons are Ebonheart peeps. Not opposed to starting over though if a few folks want to start playing together.

I'll get on and see if I can get everything setup. Later tonight at 8PM central might be best.

Excellent - be good to run with you, Cair ;)   I have characters on all three factions, though the only one over level 10 is in Daggerfall (19-20 ish).

Would love to have bank access; I hate leaving provisioning materials behind but I just don't have room to store everything yet.  Be happy to drop them there to share and just grab what I need from time to time.

I have characters on all 3 factions as well (my highest level character is in Daggerfall - lvl 25 Orc Dragonknight). I read that they're going to put in cross-faction instance grouping outside of the the LFG tool, so at least it'll be easier for people to do content together even if we're separated across factions. IMHO, that's something they should have had at launch, with guilds being cross-faction and all, but it's nice that they're adding it.

FYI - I was very eager to get on and make those changes, but found I had not reinstalled since I formatted my Drive a few weeks ago. Currently in that process and trying to get this up and running again.

EDIT: And I need 80 Gigabytes...

I still get online and play the Dragonfall Covenant side...me and a buddy named Otosogari1.  We are on at least 4 or 5 nights a week.  We run in PVP with a group called the Heart of Darkness.  Us and Ark Knights are the DC for on Haderus.  The game is fun as hell.

Hey all, where are most of you playing now?  The wife and I are mostly playing ebonpact mostly.  However, we have ventured across all three and have the majority of all the crafting taken care of.   Just wanted to put a feeler out there.

I have 2 characters on DC and one each in the other factions. I haven't been online that much lately, though.

If someone is looking for an invite, you can find me as @Lazumi or @Ahnyari. I can't promote, but at least I can get you in.

Largely it's just been @Argentyne and I playing; I've not seen anyone else on in a while. I have characters in all three factions, though my highest is in the upper 20s in DC.

I think I'm going to just take the plunge again. I have all the DLC and my highest level character is only level 20, so there's a lot that I can do - and I love the immersiveness of the world.:)

I can also invite into the guild (on PC). Friend @MadBlue and I'll invite you. It's nice that guilds can be cross-faction. It's unfortunate that the factions can't group together in open world, but at least they can in instances now.
