#1) Make sure your inventory is EMPTY, lol. When you open your gifts, it will be rather daunting, hehe.

#2) There is an item for each of your characters, which now contains your costume mods, just putting them back onto your characters will free up a bunch of room.

#3) Lots of free awesome artifacts.

#4) Next step is to set up the skills and other modifications.

Need to rethink the character stats, ie, str, int, dur and so on.

There are a number of hours of work to be done, for those of us who have many characters.

Until I'm done, the final verdict is still out.

    Cheers

So far I like the changes.  The talent trees have been simplified.  I guess if you like theory craft you'll hate the simplified talents. If you like getting into the game quickly (like me) you'll like the simplified talents.

The biggest change for me is that they put the stun breaker and a cool down on the dash moves.  I can't spam dash to move around the battle field anymore.  I have to save the dash for when I really need it.

They also took out the multiple action bars.  I like this.  I hated switching bars to use secondary skills.

I am excited for the changes right now; it really feels like a new game.   That's an instant reaction, haven't had time to digest.

I think a lot of the people on the forums are following the old patterns of high-crit, damage damage damage!!!!  Defense matters now, I think.

I think the infinity system is certainly easier to digest than omegas, but it's more bland.  I think the omega system could have been made more approachable instead with a better UI.  That's a small nit for me, not a "this suxorz!"

Just in case you're trying to gear up, they will be changing a bunch of them soon.  For me, Rocket and War Machine are new favorites, and I just found out I need to re-gear them. :-(

Hey all - just letting you know of the following Primary Attributes that will be changing immediately in the first update patch.

We wanted to get these in in earlier TC builds, but the timing was such that it was safer to wait until the first patch. Please keep these in mind when starting to reallocate your gear choices.

The following heroes Offensive Traits will been changed to what is listed below:

Black Panther - Fighting / Intelligence

    Cable - Fighting / Energy

Jean Grey - Energy / Intelligence

    Juggernaut - Durability / Strength

    Kitty - Fighting / Intelligence

    Psylocke - Fighting / Intelligence

    Rocket - Fighting / Energy

    She-Hulk - Durability / Strength

Squirrel Girl - Fighting / Speed

War Machine - Durability / Strength

Winter Soldier - Strength / Fighting

What build do you use on Rocket Raccoon? I tried to use a summoner build (I was using that before the update) and it didn't feel strong.

According to subreddit a lot of the heroes, even with the best gear and such, seem very nerfed and underpowered. Someone mentioned that their Captain America used to hit for a few million and now only does a few hundred thousand.

I noticed this with all the heroes I've played since the update. I'm not getting the huge crit and brut hits I used to. I'm not very concerned about this. It's part of the rebalancing of the game.

With Rocket I wasn't happy with the way the summoner rotation 'feels'. J/W what Jaif was using on his Rocket.

Agreed, it takes longer to do the same thing...

For the new people, this means more of a grind to level.

All damage numbers were tuned downwards.  Red & Cosmic are very obviously more difficult than they were before.

I'm playing a gunner rocket, but haven't tried anything serious with him.   I took Reed & War Machine to cosmic kurse, and really got a run for my money, but I did it and would do better with practice.  I think a good player would crush with Reed - I'm doing outrageous damage with Positron beam, but I need to work on my timing so I don't get CC'ed in the middle of it.

I have trying to get the most out of my Psylocke, she feels like way less effective as a damage dealer now.

Just for fun, I set up Mr. Fantastic to get as much brutal damage as I could with Positron Emitter. Big Numbers! Yay!

My Mister Fantastic was and still is the same way.  The ultimate nullifier and the doomsaw, just because!  I will say this - if the boss doesn't move or CC you, it MELTS.

Recently, though, I've been working with Thor using a godly smite build from the forums.  It really gets me the vibe that I always wanted to Thor; lightning everywhere, and big smacks.
