Tagon Posted June 8, 2009 Author Share Posted June 8, 2009 I have been thinking about how I am going to deal with those members who where out last night due to everyones greatest enemy real life. Normally I don't think I would have worried about it to much, but with a record play time of about 7 hours Delmar and KC's characters each gained 1638 XP. This puts the other 4 characters drastically behind. So what I am going to try is giving them 2/3 of the XP based on the idea while the other characters were out fighting, they were doing something...in this case defending the hedge from an onslaught of undead coming from the entrance pit. This gives Beorn, Zenobia, Liaden and Sylly each 1091 XP for the night. Eranath Posted April 4, 2015 Share Posted April 4, 2015 I have 0 experience playing on foruns, but I based on the base rules on the books, I find that a party with a Hybrid Ranger, Rageblood Barbarian, Orb Wizard a Paladin and a Cleric can completely trivialize the Karavakos fight and most of PoS content if they know how to turtle. Pretty fun to watch from a DMs perspective, the only fight that escapes the tactic and proves to be a challenge is the far realm abomination. Considering of course a 5 member team.
