Fractured MMO

Fractured is an open-world fantasy sandbox MMORPG which blends action combat with fully interactive environments, appealing equally to lovers of competitive and cooperative gameplay. Jump right into the fray from day one. Defeat your enemies with skill and wit, not equipment or level. Gather resources, craft, trade and venture into legendary travels as a solitary hero, or start a settlement with your guild and grow it into the next empire. A true sandbox MMORPG, Fractured lets players pursue the gameplay they enjoy, create the type of character they enjoy, and focus on doing what they enjoy.
Fractured Key Features
Unique And Dynamic Setting – Explore the universe of Fractured, which is spread across three planets – Arboreus, Syndesia, and Tartaros. Travel is an important part of the game experience; unlike many traditional MMORPGS, players must find a way to survive as they traverse the worlds. In addition, eclipses, unique PvE events, have a huge impact on the lives of demons and humans. The state of the universe, and even the position of planets, matters!
Race Is More Than Cosmetic – The race you belong to has an actual impact on game mechanics, from the type of society you live in to the ways you can interact with other players. Choose a human and live in – or at odds with – a feudal society. Be a beastman, and live in harmony with nature. Or, choose a demon, and slake your thirst for blood and revenge!
Crafting That Matters – Finding a broadsword in the corpse of a rat sounds a little unlikely? Forget about old RPG clichés and enter a world where every item is crafted by players. Exploit the uneven distribution of resources to get high profits when trading at faraway markets – but make sure you reach your destination alive!
Get Into The Action – You do not need to grind zombies for 80 hours or reach some level limit before you can join your friends on adventures. In Fractured, you can take part in any content from the first day in the game! The Knowledge system offers power and flexibility, allowing players to develop exactly the character they wish to play.
Action Combat Evolved – Fractured melds the combat style you’ve loved in single-player Action RPGs with a complex sandbox universe. Learn to aim, dodge and master over 400 abilities and 40 unique status effects: only your skills and tactics will lead you to victory! The environment is fully interactive, and can be used to give you an edge in your adventures.

The Scalebreaker DLC game pack brings two new Season of the Dragon dungeons, expanding upon the events of both Wrathstone and Elsweyr. The Dragons are free from the Halls of Colossus, and now you must deal with the fallout of their release. While these stories are part of the year-long saga, you can enjoy both without having completed either of the year’s earlier content—enjoy!
Lair of Maarselok
For centuries, Maarselok slept deep in the mountains between Elsweyr and Grahtwood. However, upon the opening of the Halls of Colossus, this monstrous Dragon has awoken, and now threatens to spread his corruption into the domain of the Wood Elves. Only with the help of the Warlock Carindon and the forest spirit Selene can you defeat this terrifying new Dragon!

Hunt the great Dragon Maarselok!
Moongrave Fane
Hidden within a fallen Khajiiti temple, the vampires of the Hollowfang prepare to perform a terrible ritual. Joined by the former Dragonguard Grundwulf, they wish to drain the blood from a captured Dragon! You and your team must fight your way into the fallen ruin and put a stop to their plan before it’s too late.
Both dungeons can be attempted in Normal and Veteran difficulties, with a Veteran Hard Mode option available for those looking for a challenge. Brave delvers can discover new rewards up for grabs in both dungeons, too, including new item sets, Achievements, collectibles, and more.
The Scalebreaker DLC game pack is free for all ESO Plus members and available for purchase for 1,500 crowns from the in-game Crown Store (listed under DLC).

  2. Fixed getting gear for other javelins. Loot drop rate is still pretty bad. If your focus is gear, the game will be frustrating and unpleasant. If you enjoy flying around or just general gameplay, then getting the loot is a nice bonus. Though I did get frustrated trying to get the last weapon I needed for the weapon challenges and then the last Ranger gear I needed for those challenges. I suspect the big patch will be disappointing and the next level death knell for the game unless they improve loot drop rates. Given random inscriptions, there need to be more (I rarely keep any drops anymore because I've managed to assemble decent inscriptions). I'll keep playing this till I find something I enjoy more. Or the game will improve, and I won't find that something.
  3. Thanks for the update. I really enjoyed the gameplay, but got real tired of farming gear that was just crap. Can’t remember how many grandmaster 2 missions and the group missions I forget what they are called and only ever got one piece higher than mastercraft. And it wasn’t even for the javelin I was in. Have they fixed that?
  4. PTS is up. Aside from the PTS being not-ready-for-prime-time (not a surprise), there are improvements over the base game.
  5. Thanks for the update.
  6. Patch 1.2.0 hit this week and there was a developer livestream about the upcoming changes. https://www.ea.com/games/anthem/news/update-120 For those who want a summary: Patch added a couple of features to freeplay to improve it: A question-mark on the compass for collectables/nodes/etc. Purple icons for areas that will spawn an elite with a guaranteed drop (though the drop may be garbage) Fast travel around the map from strider to strider. Patch added a handful of canned communications commands ("Thanks", "Follow me", etc.) Some new Legendary Missions (technically, they're not new if they're replays of old missions). A bunch of bug fixes. A bunch of gear changes. A QoL fix (looking away from an interaction no longer cancels it). Stream talked about some of the upcoming changes: A PTS is expected to go live next week. They'll be dropping builds of Cataclysm to it. Initial builds will have functional gaps. News about the Cataclysm: Designed for four players. Score-based leaderboards, with score being both a product of what you do and the difficulty level. Some new items with slightly higher power levels than current gear. 2-week lead-up to the event with vanity rewards. 6-week event, with different weeks having different special rulesets (i.e., gear does quad damage for a week). Cataclysm will be a new map area. A new melee weapon slot that will allow each javelin to have either primer or finisher for melee attack. Luck as a gear stat is going away (inscriptions will be replaced with +Armor). Everyone will be given max Luck, which they say will increase drop rates. I run 90+ Luck on most of my kits and don't see great drops, so I'm dubious of the value here. But +Armor is nice and not having to wear stupid/sub-optimal gear for the Luck will be nice. From practical experience, Freeplay flows nicer now. Less bored searching for events. Now you can hit clusters of mobs as you search for events. Questrox and I run together several nights a week. Guild activity is currently down to about 3 people. Not all the problems are gone from the game, but they've clearly been working hard and there's still some life left in it. For those that enjoy the gameplay, it remains enjoyable. For those who don't enjoy the gameplay, it's not really different enough to magically make you love it. But if anyone was on the fence about committing more time to it, there's life from the devs, and we have a couple of people who play most days, and doing the group content is always better with the same people than pugs. So swing by and check it out again.
  7. Finally got the article system back up and running.
  8. Rashinderp since Rashin, Rash_in were taken.
  9. Until there's a way to communicate in game, if only to say, "are you ready to group?", discord may be necessary. EDIT: Though I guess sending an invite might be enough.
  10. Evenings work well for me. Monday and Wednesday for sure because the gf works. I'm usually on in the evenings anyways anyways, either in Anthem, Rust, or SWTOR. Not always in Discord because I've gotten used to other plugs, but around.
  11. You really should go ahead and get Discord. In-game voice is an option but, at least for me, the social side of things is important, plus if we get folks good at working with each other in GM2, that paves the way to trying GM3 (for the challenge). I found GM2 difficult on Colossus. But that could be my playstyle more than anything else (run into a pile and beat it up, which doesn't work so well when they beat you up faster). GM2 quickplay wasn't so bad (though lack of group cohesion/coordination left a mark). GM2 strongholds were rough. I'll have to experiment with Interceptor more. All the suits are now 660+ (except in gear-grinding +Luck builds), so it's mostly about getting better skill-wise and hunting for drops with synergistic inscriptions. Colossus, I'm currently going for a simple +Damage build, often sporting dual autocannons. I think Interceptor will go with +Ultimate Speed and +Ultimate Damage, once I have enough parts for it.
  12. Sorry for being anti-social. I really need to set up Discord. It's hard for me to commit to any grouping times, but I'm game for GM2 whenever I'm on. I found that once I was able to put together a decent Interceptor build, GM2 wasn't really that bad. Moving constantly keeps me surprisingly safe, and melee kills self-heal. I can solo GM2 freeplay pretty well, only dying occasionally when I mess up. I tend to struggle on my Ranger in GM2, even at a very high gear score. Haven't tried it with a Storm or Colossus.
  13. Mondays and Wednesdays, 9pm to 11pm ET are best for me. Maybe Sundays. But I have some flexibility as long as I don't gain wife aggro. Evenings are generally wife time, but a couple of scheduled nights can work. Other nights if I'm on, I'm on.
  14. Although there's a core group that's on several afternoons and evenings a week that occasionally runs content together (or sometimes just hangs out on Discord), for those chasing the Challenge of Valor and on the Freeplay leg, my experience is either do it on Easy to blow through it or on Hard to keep it a tiny bit interesting, or go GM1 and either find the other random people or spend a lot of time hiding to recover. I'm hoping we can go with another option: Scheduling some Freeplay activities. I think there are several people at the necessary level and gearscore for GM1. Quickplay and Strongholds are straightforward as people are all grouped up. But Freeplay isn't like that unless you go in with a pre-made. I'd like to do GM1 Freeplay to keep it interesting and have a better chance at better loot. If we're coordinated enough and up for it, I'd like to try GM2, also. Please reply to this thread with when (days, hours) are best for you. Maybe we can find enough in common to schedule stuff.
  15. Well, I see the button. But pretty sure my first-time ever attempt to properly News-Report was a dismal failure. Or do we count it as a failed attempt at editing? I'm not sure … Either way, I tried creating an article, only to save a spiffy image-header a dozen times over, argh! There was no space for me to actually upload any sort of article, either. Lovely mess I made, sigh. Hey, at least the image is a cool one. But can you delete the absurd things and give me some pointers on how to effectively upload the proper info lol? Sorry for being a pain.
  16. Patch Notes are up. Update is going live tomorrow morning.
  17. See if you can see the button now. oh, and congrats on becoming a News Reporter. 🙂
  18. No, Damis. I can't see any ability or button for me to add an article. I was under the impression I needed to finish preparing the article and pass it along to Throne, actually. I wasn't certain how to complete it properly, though, since I would like to include some of our screen-pictures, gifs, and I'm trying to complete a recruitment video to toss on there too. Only let me know if there's something I can do to properly upload the lot of it to the articles section, though. Or should I continue along finishing it up and then give it over to Throne?
  19. Are you able to create an article on the site? I honestly can't remember how we set that up. I may have to tweak the settings to allow access. Can you see the 'Add New Article' button?
  20. What Questrox said. But I am finishing up an article. Should be ready in next day or so. Hugs.
  21. Questrox, that is so YOU. Like cool, jagged ice, really. So here's my own Interceptor: Some other cool pictures too:
  22. Upload your favorite / cool pics to share. See my first masterwork Javelin below (not the best build, but its still a Masterwork 😀)
  23. My thoughts: TL;DR - Good solid game. Its fun and engaging, but feels more like an expansion than a whole game (will need to see what comes with the monthly updates and how it evolves). Positives Graphics wise the best I have seen, in comparison to Apex which came out just ahead, graphics are night and day. Have never seen anything like Anthem Combat is fun and engaging Good storyline Unique classes that feel totally different. Grind is decent (its a looter shooter, so ofc there's a grind) Good communication from Devs to the community Negatives Backlash from community about the game Thinking specifically here of the IGN review that got taken down because the dude didn't even play to endgame Story is too short Lack of endgame content (lot of it is repeatable randomized contracts, or the 3 current dungeons. Pick your difficulty, same thing) Wish it had new mechanics for varying levels of difficulty
  24. Well, until the official guild system thing gets patched in, the most we could currently do is get together in voice and then all hit free play and down some world events, if it puts people in the same "instance" (not sure on what their working model is). Only being able to group 4 is a little challenging for group stuff.
  25. We need to post something on the front page in regards to Anthem. We could pull some news about the game off the internet, but it would be better if we ran a story on a group event in Anthem. The more involved the better. We also need a picture or two to go with the story. I can help write the story if needed, I just need to have details of the event. So, is there an event that we can run as a guild with a lot of people?
