    1. I haven't tried it in a while and will come back for a run around to see if it can hook me back in. The combat was the main issue I had, with the collisions and hitboxes not seeming to be very accurate along with the magic system being a little weird (unique). It is definately more fun with a couple of others running around, so if we can find a time to get even a small group together, that would be great. That said, I might pop in and see what I can do solo one of these days =D - Jasc
    2. The Ashes of Creation kickstarter went live today: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1791529601/ashes-of-creation-new-mmorpg-by-intrepid-studios Massively did a couple of write ups which explain quite a bit from self-funding through to PVEVP http://massivelyop.com/2017/05/01/ashes-of-creations-kickstarter-is-live-seeking-750000-to-bolster-the-rebirth-of-the-mmorpg/ http://massivelyop.com/2017/05/01/massively-op-interview-ashes-of-creation-on-a-new-way-to-mmo/
    3. Just watched some youtube vids and the current game state looks quite good. The node system, class and races, economics and crafting all sound solid. They have been developing the game for 14months and waited until they had a working playable game before going to crowdfunding which sounds mo better than most. Alpha planned for Q4, so will drop some cash for it when I see what the kickstarter tiers look like. Referral: https://www.ashesofcreation.com/ref/jasconine/ Another game on the watchlist! - Jasc
    4. Following this game, but haven't seen anything great so far. Watched the mage flythrough of the dungeon and some of the other media. Will keep watching and the kickstarter goes live in a few days, so that should have more information and hype around it as well. - Jasc
    5. Still saving for one. Had some time off lately due to real life, but will be in and out over the next 3 weeks. - Jasc
    6. Twins Foothills around the Elysium mine entrance (when I go mining for gold and silver), Greymark Forest in the Hidden Vale (when I go to visit Owl's Head), Spectral Foothills north of Solania (when I go searching for iron) and Savrenoc Stronghold on the otherside of the Spectral Foothills from Solania (when I need a change of scenery.)
    7. I used an obsidian book of unlearning on my polearm skill and received 512K adventure XP (92 -> 20). I used it all in ~45mins. Sit around ~8K adventuring XP most of the time I am hunting 5 skull areas and have a lot of skills turned on. My crafting XP sits between 12-20K when I want it to (after lotsa mining or gathering.)
    8. I have been using a 8/2/22 deck and have a problem with too many "blank" slots, especially during long fights. Combos are nice when they pop and I have managed to get a few stacks (2) at times, but nothing consistent or amazing to date. The deck system is novel and has a lot of potential, if only I could figure out how to get the slots to fill more quickly. My first 5 slots are all offensive with a mix of melee magic, melee weapon attacks and a few ranged options. Then I have 2 locked cards, ignite weapon and immolate. The final 3 slots are heals, buffs with a couple of summons in slot #0. Enjoying the style of combat, but looking for some advanced tips and tricks to get my deck really humming!
    9. Here is a list of masterwork and enchants (gem first then enchant for possible bonus)
    10. I read about combos and it does look interesting. Your OP link has much more detail and is more compelling. I will give it a try some time soon =D Thanks for the post and the useful information! - Jasc
    11. Sounds like fun! For some weird reason, I triple posted because I received a server error... Mumble and the website were both busted for me yesterday. I will delete the other 2 identical threads. - Jasc
    12. Hiyas, Anyone want to try the fire elemental (kill some fire ele so you can eventually summon one) and the phoenix (same type of quest) either this weekend or next? Both quests start in Desolis from the relevant master trainer and I don't think you need to be T5-ready to complete the quest, as it should unlock the gate if or when you eventually get there. This is an exploratory run to see how difficult each quest is and to get the unlocks if we are able. We can also run it again at a later date for others, but we will be armed with more knowledge and experience the second time around. I will shout out in-game on the weekend to see if anyone is keen or leave a message here. The fire ele is apparently in Nightshade Pass and the Phoenix is over in the west of Novia somewhere. I read some posts in the SoTA forums and the phoenix quest seems to be the harder of the 2 and douse + fire resist + other water attunements help a lot in the fire ele quest. Fire ele should have ~1650HP and the Phoenix has 7K HP x2 (rebirth)
