  1. As the thread's title says, I'm thinking of leaving SWTOR. Simpy put, I feel burnt out. I've been playing since launch, and while I've put a ton of time into the game, I've found myself enjoying it less and less each time I log in. Why? It's the grind. I have eight characters at level 55, and none of them are geared for either hard mode raid on Oricon. They're all kind of far away from being ready, too. My sniper named Wølf, the character I've been trying to build into my best character, can only parse barely over 2500 even though I have most of her gear at 180 and have the recommended DF relics. I've worked really hard to make her gear viable, but seeing those numbers makes me feel like I'm wasting my time. The rotation I've figured out is what most of the websites I've found say to use, and I can only do 2500. That sucked so much joy out of the game for me. I never wanted to use Parsec, and now I see why. If I've put that much effort into Wølf, it would take me the rest of the year working at the exact same level to get half of my 55s to DF/DP HM level. By then there will probably be yet another level of gear that I'll get way too late in getting. Please don't anyone take offense to this, but I have yet to find a guild that I enjoy as much as I enjoyed Oppression on The Harbinger. They had a system of gearing and teaching that no other guild has yet to duplicate, a system that made a lot of people feel welcome and excited. While I think CotP is a great guild, there's a reason why Oppression had at least eight solid raids teams going for the vast majority of the time I spent there. My subscription runs out on July 7th. Unless I find some unforeseen reason to stay in the game, I'm going to let it lapse and uninstall the game. It was a lot of fun, a wonderful, new experience in gaming, and I definitely got my money's worth. I don't know how active I'll be from here on, but if I'm on either Kamakiri or Catillac, I'll be willing to help people out if I can. If you've made it this far, thanks for reading.
