Spryone Posted December 18, 2016 Share Posted December 18, 2016 (edited) Hello Everyone, I have moved the guild town house from Graff Island to Aldwater. Aldwater is a town right by Ardoris facing the ocean. I am trying to slowly move everything that showed up in my bank box from the chapter house down to the new location. The Guild House is in the middle of town about a block away from the bank. The main reason for this move was because it seemed a lot easier to keep playing away from Graff Island and dump everything that I was acquiring in one of the village lots that are scattered throughout Novia. I was honestly getting tired of dieing so often while traveling through Vauban Pass. When the original placement of houses took place I was focused on trying to find a place near the Guild PoT Island. Now it seems it is easier to place it where is easily available for everyone to use. I saw this spot, which isn't a bad place to use as a base of operations, and thought about the ease of going to the sewers (1 skull) or necropolis barrens (5 skull) for hunting. This also is smack dab in the middle of the Love Quest Line for those of us who are working on that. Anyway I know not a lot of us are playing right now but when SoTA releases and you need a safe place to store your items this will be here. It is on a Tax Free Lot so it wont be moving again. When I moved the house there were a lot of books that showed up in the bank box. Did they come from a certain spot in the Guild House? I cant remember seeing them before I moved it. I will put them in a chest all together so I can place them near the original location so they can be arranged as they were for the original owner. Anything else that was not already in a container let me know it is yours and I will be sure to label a chest with your name on it and place it upstairs so you can get your items back. Lifedragn Posted December 19, 2016 Share Posted December 19, 2016 I had a ton of books in one of my cabinets. Those are probably them. I think that makes for a good move. We do have the PoT for a Drachvald presence, so doubling down there at the moment doesn't make much sense. Especially given very few people hang around there because of Vauban as you mentioned. Keeping property up during long absences can be troublesome if you aren't tax free. But other than that it is pretty forgiving of breaks which is nice. I've just been busy period.
