Wolcen - Full Release!

Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem is going into full release on Feb 13th, 2020!  I've been following this ARPG since it was first Kickstarted way back in 2015.  I've played it once or twice throughout the development process... Some Alpha, some Beta.  Overall it has come along very nicely, and I have high hopes for the future of this game.  This game has been discussed as once of the top games that will be pit against Diablo IV for the next generation of ARPG's on the market.  I know Cecil and I will be playing for sure.  Come join us in-game and on Discord!

Smite - Free To Play.

Smite is a 3D fantasy MOBA where players take on the role of mythological gods and battle in team-based arenas. Unlike other MOBAs, SMITE puts you directly onto the battlefield with a third-person action viewpoint. From blind-side ambushes to aimed shots, a new pantheon of strategic possibilities awaits.  Become a legend of myth, enter the Battleground of the Gods, and play FREE now!

Game Modes:
Conquest – the main 5v5 game mode. Features three lanes and a jungle area filled with neutral monsters. Arena – a 5v5 game mode with an open battle area rather than lanes. Each team begins with 500 points and must reduce the other side's to zero by killing heroes, minions, and escorting allied minions to portals. Joust – a 3v3 game mode with a single lane which otherwise plays like Conquest mode. Joust can also be played 1v1. Assault – similar to ARAM (All Random, All Mid) in LoL, players are assigned a random God and fight on a map with a single lane. Siege – a faster version of Conquest. Siege mode consists of only two lanes and contains a special Siege Juggernaut minion that deals extra damage to structures.
Never played a battle arena before? Don’t worry. Auto-buy, auto-level, and the deathmatch-like Arena mode let you jump right into divine MOBA action. Aspiring pro? Top the ladders, join a competitive team, and you too could be playing at the SMITE World Championship.

    CotP and Fallout 76

Fallout 76's full release date was announced at Bethesda's E3 conference, and it's coming this year on November 14th, 2018 on PC

Now, please feel free to rewind your gaming memory to June, 2015...

ARK: Survival Evolved's early release showed up on Steam, and surprised the heck out of most CotP members, including myself.  Despite the server stability and networking issues, the game was quite a hit with CotP members and certainly made a lasting impact on this community.

While Fallout 76 is not sneaking up on anyone who doesn't live under a rock, I am personally hoping for another CotP adventure filled with good times akin to our experience in the early days of ARK's early release.  I hope to meet plenty of CotP gamers who I haven't had the opportunity to game with in the past, and potentially add a few new names to my eternal (short)  list of people I generally pretend to like.  Similar to ARK, I also expect we will have enough participation to garner some internal competition....(hopefully a change from the standard Throne's team vs Damis' team we generally end up in).

We do not have any plans for an official CotP group in the current BETA, however, as always, we will rely on our established team of early testers to give us a head start on how the game plays and where the early focus needs to be.

The group forum is up and open to whomever would like to join in on the discussions and plans.

I’m concerned about my pc. I already planned on upgrading my GPU from a 760 gtx 2gb to a 1060 gtx 6gb but I’m worried about my processor. Running an I5 4670k and I don’t know if that’s enough. Really don’t want to drop $600 before I can even play the game

I'm planning on buying this, but I may hold off for a bit before getting into it. I just started playing Destiny 2 and ordered the expansion for it. Together with WoW, that'll keep me busy for a while.

I got a chance to try out Fallout 76 during one of the Beta events... It definitely has some solid gameplay.  I was really looking forward to this one, but I think I'll end up postponing my purchase for now.  The new Ark expansion dropped last night, so I'll be busy with that for the forseeable future. All in all though, Fallout 76 has some serious potential.  It felt like they took the strong storyline and other popular aspects of Fallout gameplay, and then shifted the style of the game to be more survival-focused like 7 Days to Die.

Keep us all posted on what you guys think of the game as you play!
